Recently, we had a photographer come down and capture some amazing photos of who we are and what we do.

New Barges Being Built

Currently Terral is in the process of building 6 covered hopper barges and 18 open hopper barges. The barges are being built in Trinity Ship Yard, Port Allen, Louisiana. Trinity has the capacity to finish 3 barges a week. They will be ready for service the first part of April.

River Levels Returning To Normal

A steady ebb and flow – ah, life on the river. The water levels rise and fall and much of the captains job revolves around the obstacles that come along with it. For the last month, their eyes have been drawn to high water levels and the delays this causes along the way.

Congratulations to the Adams on the Birth of Their Son Scott

Congratulations to Steven and Kimberly Adams on the birth of their first child, Scott Ryder Adams, who was born on March 6. Scott entered the world at six pounds, 12 ounces. Terral River Service Renovates Warehouse, Purchases Crane

Terral River Service has purchased a new 100-ton cable crane and leased and renovated a 62,000 sq. ft. warehouse at its Port of Natchitoches facility on the Red River. The warehouse will be used to store sand, which will be handled using a Link-Belt 308 cable crane.

High Water Delaying Deliveries Along Lower Mississippi

High water due to rain and melting snow is delaying barge deliveries and impacting bulk material handling along the rivers served by Terral River Service. TRS congratulates Cody and Lena Harrell on their new son

TRS would like to congratulate Cody and Lena Harrell who gave birth to a 8lb 11oz 20.5” baby boy, Nathan Isaac Harrell, on 12/5/2014.
