Terral RiverService is excited to announce the construction of two new towboats, further strengthening our commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient service on the inland waterways.

The twin-screw conventional vessels are being built by Intercoastal Iron Works in Houma, Louisiana, and were designed by Farrell and Norton Naval Architects. Each vessel features a 78′ x 30′ hull with an 8-foot draft and is powered by Mitsubishi Tier 3 main engines rated at 803 HP at 1,400 RPM. Additional specifications include Twin Disc MGX5321DC gears, John Deere marine generators, Wintech RT-40 winches, and 76″ x 53″ x 4″ wheels. The vessels are scheduled to be completed end of 2026. These new additions represent Terral’s continued investment in our fleet, our customers, and the future of our operations.
