Josh Brown has been with Terral RiverService for about 19 months.

Before working for Terral, he worked for a large river company.

“I’ve always been with big companies and i wanted to try working for a smaller one,” he said. “I love that it’s small and family oriented. You can always call and talk to someone, and that someone always knows your name.”

Brown started as a mate on the M/V Amy Gattle and, after participating in Terral’s Steersman program, he worked his way up to the wheelhouse.

“This company was nice enough to send me to school and they gave me the chance to become a wheelman,” Brown said. “They invested in me.”
