The former mv. Elmer Stone has been renamed to mv. Virginia Mooney.

Terral has renamed the six push boats it purchased after acquiring Kinder Morgan’s Blytheville, AR and Decatur, AL river assets in December 2017.

Three of the six push boats have been renamed in honor of family members of Terral RiverService CEO, Tom Gattle. The mv. Elmer Stone has been named mv. Virginia Mooney, after Mr. Gattle’s daughter. The mv. Austin Stone has been renamed to Lena Louise, and the mv. Dortha Stone to Hazel M., after Virginia Mooney’s daughters and Tom Gattle’s granddaughters.

The remaining boats were named after dedicated Terral employees.

The mv. Bo Huffman has been changed to the mv. Anita House, an accountant who has been with Terral for 11 years. Terral also renamed the mv. Rick Ellis after the lead dispatcher of the Barfield, Hickman and Decatur fleets, Felicia Terrell. The mv. Paulette K is now the mv. Robin Hopkins, who has worked for Terral in accounting for 17 years.

In addition to renaming the six acquired Kinder Morgan push boats, Terral has renamed the mv. John C. Terral to Evie Kate, in honor of the daughter of Gabe Gattle, VP of Transportation, and granddaughter of Tom Gattle. The name John C Terral will be reintroduced on a new 4250 h.p. boat set to debut summer of 2019.
