Terral RiverService is proud to announce our featured employee for June, Mike Askue. Mike started working for TRS in November 2017 as part of our acquisition of Kinder Morgan in Blytheville, Arkansas. He had been working in the same position for over twenty-seven years and has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.

He continued his work as a Supervisor before being promoted to Manager in December of 2018, taking over Mid-America Rock Unloading, and remains the Supervisor for Barfield Cleaning Docks. He says he wakes up at 5am and goes until he can’t go anymore. “I love my work,” Mike says. “And what I love about Terral is that they allow you to work and grow. I like that they feel like a family and that you’re not just a number.” TRS is most impressed with Mike’s work ethic and drive and is grateful for the determination he pours into his work. “Mike gives 100% all of the time and strives for customer satisfaction,” says Marvin Collins, Operations Manager for TRS.

Mike says that he looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead, to learning and expanding his knowledge, and to seeing what’s next on the horizon. “I like the team and the direction the company is going. It’s something I want to be a part of.” In Mike’s spare time, he likes to hunt and fish and take care of his family. We are honored to have him on our management team.
