Terral RiverService is proud to announce our featured employee for February, Mallory Hopkins. Mallory has been the Payables Staff Accountant for the Marine division since October of last year. She began with TRS in May 2018 as a file clerk and assistant to the Payables Staff Accountant and HR/Payroll Manager. She says that she is really enjoying the new experiences and responsibilities of this new position and is grateful to leadership for their confidence in her and for giving her the chance to take them on.

Mallory and her husband Nick moved to Lake Providence in 2012. She first worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk for the Town of Lake Providence before earning her insurance license and working for an agent. “I always liked to focus more on the clerical and billing side of things than the sales side. It was a great job, but I knew that sales just wasn’t for me.” Mallory was really happy for the opportunity to work with Terral both for the return to what she enjoys doing, and also because she had heard what a family-oriented company it is. She says: ”This is a truly great place to work. Not only the people in the Lake Providence office, but my co-workers at all our other locations have been so welcoming and helpful as I have shifted roles. I look forward to many more years helping Terral River Service grow and growing with them.” 

In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and two young children and other family and friends both in Lake Providence and Monroe.
