Terral RiverService, Acquires Two New Vessels

Terral is proud the announce the addition of two new vessels! M/V Larry Boy and M/V Miss Braylee. We are continuing to grow and excited to be able to have both these new vessels operating for our customers.

The M/V “Larry Boy” was found to be an all steel, welded triple screw, diesel powered, river type towboat built in 1997 by Houma Fabricators, Inc., at Houma, LA., with three decks and a wheelhouse.  It was powered by a pair of Cummins KTA19-M2 diesel engines, which develop a total of 2000 horsepower through Twin Disc MG 540 reverse/reduction gears with ratios of 5.92:1. Approximate hull dimensions were 70’ x 28’ x 9.4’. Purchased by Terral RiverService at the beginning of March 2022.

The M/V “Miss Braylee” was found to be an all steel, welded triple screw, diesel powered, river type towboat built in 1997 by Houma Fabricators, Inc., at Houma, LA., with three decks and a wheelhouse.  It was powered by a pair of Cummins KTA19-M2 diesel engines, which develop a total of 2000HP horsepower through Twin Disc MG 540 reverse/reduction gears with ratios of 5.92:1. Approximate hull dimensions were 70’ x 28’ x 9.4’. Purchased by Terral RiverService at the beginning of March 2022.
